Jah Clarity

Reggae Artist, Song Writer and Performer formerly known as Lyrics Factory born and raised in Brownstown, St. Ann, Jamaica. Jah Clarity, presently resides in Kingston, Jamaica.

As a youth living in Jamaica growing up in the same Parish Bob Marley was born and raised, Jah Clarity learned to appreciate the love for Reggae music. At the age of 11, Jah Clarity’s talent developed, performing at school concerts, talent shows and performing at various community bars by punching the Juke Box and free styling from music playing on the juke box. Jah Clarity received very good applauses and money from those who enjoyed his performance. The very first talent show Jah Clarity entered he won first place in the Red Label Wine competition at the Scaggy Entertainment Complex in Orange Hill, Brownstown, Jamaica. Jah Clarity continued to grow and developed a broader maturity to his music career. Jah Clarity is not only a performer but a song writer. All of Jah Clarity’s music are all originals. Jah Clarity has written many lyrics for many reggae artists such as: Anthony B, Luciano, Angie Angel, and Nitty Kutchy, just to name a few.

After graduating from Brownstown Secondary School in Brownstown, Jamaica, Jah Clarity decided to pursue his music career. Jah Clarity linked up with Mac D’s Production and recorded his first single “Shake the Keys” that was played on various radio stations. Jah Clarity also attended Edna Manley School of Visual Arts where he received a certificate as a certified actor.

In 2000, Jah Clarity performed with Beenie Man on stage at Shorty Malcolm Memorial in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

In 2004, Jah Clarity performed at Reggae Sumfest 2004, International Night with Irie Vibrations in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Jah Clarity has three features on Lady Patra’s album released in 2004. Jah Clarity wrote the lyrics and made a video for Chamaica Productions a non-profit health organization located in California. The video can be viewed on www.myspace.com\lyricsfactory.
In 2005, Jah Clarity toured Austria and Germany performing and recording with Irie Vibrations.

In 2006, Jah Clarity recorded “Don’t Give Up” on the Fyah rhythm a DJ Sunshine Production from Irie FM. “Don’t Give Up” became very big on the charts.

In 2007, Jah Clarity opened at Aqua Sol Theme Park located in Montego Bay, Jamaica for Beenie Man. Jah Clarity received high accolades in the media for an outstanding performance.

In 2008, Jah Clarity wrote and viced a single “Olympic Dance” based on the Olympic Gold Medalist Usain Bolt. The video is featured on YouTube at www.myspace.com/Shakadelix.


Currently playing on the radio stations “Jamaican Girls We Want Fi Whine”, a collaboration rhythm with Reggae Artist Singer J, which is doing very well on the radio stations both in Jamaica and abroad. “Sweet Jamaica” produced by Kirt Riley from Fame FM is currently playing on various radio stations. Jah Clarity has been to Washington, DC on a mini tour and has linked up with Tree Daddy Productions and has done a collaboration with Tree Gotty named “Big Butt Thang” and other singles named “Can’t Get Me Out”, and “Never Gonna Break your Heart.” He also has a new single releasing in December 2009 on Conquering Lion Album a combination with Conquering Lion Band from Macedonia, “Rise Up” a single written by Jah Clarity and Conquering Lion.
